How to cook polenta au gratin (polenta i for)

  • 300 gr of Fontina PDO
  • 9/12 polenta slices
  • 3 eggs
  • 500 ml milk
  • 40 gr butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper

  • Preparation:

Dice Fontina PDO and remove the rind.

Beat the eggs in a bowl, add salt, and pepper to taste. Add milk and Fontina PDO.

Butter a baking pan and place the polenta slices on it.

Alternate the polenta slices with the egg and Fontina PDO mixture until all the ingredients have been used up. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C and allow to brown.
